Apparently hackers are creating "corona virus mapping" programs for users to download and run on their computers so they can see an up-to-date count and location of the corona-virus. It's a legitimate application that passes the sniff test of most antivirus programs however it contains spy software that captures data of information typed into browsers and keystrokes, and also contains other potential risks such as crypto-locker software. Please remind all of your leasing and executive team mates to avoid this kind of temptation and DON'T download and install it!!. These bad guys are preying on people’s fears and it is getting installed on a lot of networks out there! If you know of someone at your sites that has already installed this or something similar, uninstall it immediately and contact your IT team to scan the computer for malware and viruses.
